Re:At the Bar(Anyone) Date Posted:08/31/2017 03:31 AMCopy HTML The person that caught Logan's attention was none other then just a simply waitress doing her duties assisting another customer in the bar in the corner. However dropping a couple of empty beer bottles would catch anyone's attention. Logan shrugged it off as the young girl cleaned up her mess. Starring at nothing but a wall of booze and liquor, Logan puffs away on his cigar. From his expression giving no care in the world. The bartender walks by drying off a shot glass. Logan signals for one more. Nodding his head he soon pops the tab off a fresh cold beer bottle and places it in front of Logan. No thank you. Logan reaches for his bottle. Once his palm make contact he notices something quiet strange. The beer bottle getting colder and colder to where it soon froze to his hand. The warmth of his hand grew cold to where the metal in his hand began to hurt and sting. With his strength he attempts to break free making a tight fist in the ice now forming over his knuckles and wrist. With a heavy grunt, SHATTER! the beer bottle with the frozen beer inside like a slush contend, explodes. Shaking his hand from the mess he turns to his right soon spotting Storm in regular day wear. Her white long locks pulled up in a high pony tail looking over at his way with a smirk upon her face. "Don't you think it's rather early to be drinking so much, Logan?" She looks over and around the mess made as the waitresses and bartender get to work cleaning it up. "I'd assume you learn by now if something was to take place and Professor Xavier needed us? We would need you sober."

Re:At the Bar(Anyone) Date Posted:08/31/2017 04:24 AMCopy HTML Logan laughed and wiped his hand off turning towards Storm.
"Well see that's the thing about a mutant healing factor, I can't get cancer from smoking cigars or stay drunk long. My body constantly heals from any damage done to it, including being drunk. So anytime Chuck calls, I can still be ready for a scrap anytime." He ordered another and passed one of the mugs over to Storm. "Care for a drink? Or are we needed somewhere?" He put his cigar out on the ash tray sitting in front of him, out of respect because he knew she couldn't stand the smell. |

Re:At the Bar(Anyone) Date Posted:09/09/2017 06:23 AMCopy HTML She stops the drink slid to her with her hand grabbing the handle before looking over his way. "No place to go. So nothing but time." She smirks and then raises the glass mug to her lips taking a sip. She then lets out a tiny giggle from a small amount of beer residue left on her upper lip. She wipes it away with a nearby napkin then looks over at Logan. "So this your Saturday routine?" She asked while looking around the place then back over at him. "I figured you'd be in the Danger Room today." She cracks a side grin then reaches for the glass to take another drink. This time making a small face not found of the taste due to not being a big drinker. |

Re:At the Bar(Anyone) Date Posted:09/09/2017 10:21 AMCopy HTML He smirked.
"Yeah Saturday the kids don't have classes, and the Professor is pretty tough on the "No Drinking, No Smoking around the students" policy. So I came here, to hang with the other poor drunks who come to a bar first thing in the morning." He laughed and finished his drink. "But yeah, the Danger Room had some kinks that Beast is working on fixing. As soon as that's done though, you and I should get some training in. At least until some real danger comes along." He looked over at the pool table where two people had just finished up a game and walked back to the bar for drinks. "Or we can always get in a game or two, just because." |

Re:At the Bar(Anyone) Date Posted:09/21/2017 03:12 AMCopy HTML Storm looked in the direction of which he was looking and speaking about. "Are you sure?" She asked with a curious face. "Why not? Have somewhere else to be?" "Why no not exactly to answer your question. No jeopardizes at the moment." Logan the moves out of his bar stool standing to his feet. "Then join me for a game." Storm shyly grinned as she turned in her stool to look his way. "But I'm not any good at these bar games." "Pool? It's rather simply really. I'll show you." She too stands from her seat while Logan grabs both their beer bottles into hand. The two head over to the pool table. Storm checking out the table as if it was a strange device she's never seen before. Of course she knows what it is and how it works but playing it herself was the real test here. Could she play the game well? Logan points to the wall which held pool sticks. "Grab a stick. I'll rack em up." She rose an eyebrow as if she knew what that meant. She does as instructed though while Logan places fifty cents into the machine mechanism and pushes the two quarters in then pulls out for the balls to fall for his free to grab and rack into the triangle on the table. Storm grabs a stick from the wall and turns showing it off as if this was the right one. Logan simply chuckles and nods his head. He positions the billard balls in the correct lining then removes the triangle putting it away as he rolls the while que ball her way. Storm stops it before it bumps the inner lining of the billard's table holding the white ball into her hand. "Okay now what?" She asked. Logan walks over taking the ball from her and placing it on the table. He sets it for a good aim. Then also showing her how to hold the stick as she laughs from him holding her from behind. "Now just pull back and hit the ball. You should be able to break them and see if you make one in on the first shot." Storm nods as Logan steps back from holding her and leans back on a nearby table folding his arms as he watches her. She takes a few strokes without actually hitting the ball before she finally fully uses her strength and blows the ball that shoots the ball off the table and across the bar, breaking bottles of alcohol behind the bar int he process. The bartender who dodged the shoot looks up from the bar and over towards them as Storm shows expression of oops. Logan clapping his hands enjoying that small excitement. "Sorry!" Storm says out loud to the bartender. "I'll pay for that." She looks over at Logan not believing what she just did and him happy about it. "I can't believe that just happened." She said hiding her half her face in shame handing the pool stick over to him.

Re:At the Bar(Anyone) Date Posted:09/21/2017 03:40 AMCopy HTML Logan laughed but really tried not too for fear of embarrassing Storm even further. "Believe it or not, it was the not the worst first attempt I have ever saw." He walked back around and helped her position the cue on the table and showed her how to guide it to the ball. "Try again, keep it centered." Trusting him, she tried again and this time she was able to scatter the billiard balls across the table. "See? Much better that time, just takes practice. Now it's my turn." He chalks up his cue and shoots knocking one of the striped balls in and then taking another shot, but somewhat purposely messing up so Ororo could get another shot. "Damn.." |

Re:At the Bar(Anyone) Date Posted:09/21/2017 05:28 AMCopy HTML Logan's the table's all hers. "What now?" She asked stepping back up to the table as he hands her the stick. "Stripped balls are my targets. Those solid colors are yours." She eyes the table and nods her head. After watching how he did his aim for the stripped one to make it in and then the second one not making it. She formed a strategies into her head. It was physics. All the smarts she was known for. She eyes a good target. She aims, fires and pow the solid goes into the hole. Logan looks impressed but it was a rather easy shot. Storm eyes the table. Eyeing it up. This time taking a much harder shot. She aims. Fires. Pow, into the pocket. Logan now really impressed. Storm continued to do the angles and movements in her head as if she was a computer mapping it out. Ball after ball she was knocking them in finally leaving the black 8 ball. It was in a very difficult spot with Logan's strips in the way. "I'd like to see you make you're way out of this one." Logan chuckled as Storm looks up from her shock with a wicked grin now really enjoying herself for the moment. "Don't under estimate me Logan." Just as she said it she takes her shot bouncing the cue off the table, off Logan's head, the ball lands back on the table perfectly hitting the black ball and into the pocket scoring her for the win. She sets the pool stick excitedly down on the table raising her hands up cheering while Logan rubs his forehead. She then realizes she must be looking like a fool and quickly lowers her hands and blushes. |

Re:At the Bar(Anyone) Date Posted:10/03/2017 03:37 AMCopy HTML Logan rubbed his head but laughed. "That was the strangest, most amazing shot I have ever seen." He laughed and saw she was shy about the shy and didn't want to draw too much attention to embarrass her. "Great job, your better at this then I thought. Remind me next time I do doubles to call you up for my team." He said and set his pool stick down. "So want another round? Or you wanna head back to the school and see what's going on?" |
