Biography : Gamora is the last of her species, the Zen-Whoberis, who were exterminated by the Badoon. Thanos found the child and decided to use her as a weapon. Gamora was raised and trained by Thanos to assassinate showing her little kindness during her childhood. Gamora became very proficient in martial arts, earning the nickname "The deadliest woman in the whole galaxy". After a near-death experience, Gamora received treatments from Thanos that enchanced her speed, strength, agility, and durability.
Later, Gamora would rebel against Thanos when she learned of his deal with Ronan the Accuser to destroy planet Xandar in return for the Kree giving him an orb. She would join up with the Guardians of the Galaxy to stop him. |
