Carol was relaxed and that was rare for her as she was always busy doing something and for once she got to just be a girl and that felt good and it was getting a lot better as she was with a man and one that seemed to like her and that made her feel very good inside...

Well that sounds like a great idea as I would love to see the city that I love to protect! It will be nice to just enjoy a good night out. You know I can tell you feel as much out of place as I do so lets just relax and have fun. I mean how can we mess up a good dinner and sight seeing up right lol! The two started to walk as they talked and both felt a little more relaxed as they just talked about everything as things were just normal for once for them...

 Carol gave him that charming look as she really was starting to like this guy. He wanted to be happy and she did to. He wanted to have more out of life and that was a huge turn on to her. She was very flattered to have him like her that way.

Well Steve its refreshing to hear someone talk about how they feel. I knew that one day someone would see me in that kind of way. I didn't know where it was going to come from as I am always on the go. I didn't think it would happen at all since I am gone for days at a time helping on some other planet. I think we have the dating part down as your easy to talk to. I guess we will have to see if we can well you know the other part of dating. I know your a nice guy fun to be around. The next step will be to see if we click on other ways that only a real couple can..

Just then she stopped walking and moved up to him and she made the first move as she kissed him and it was very nice. She stepped back from the kiss to see what effect it had on him...

He was surprised, his eyes widened but it was great.

"Wow" He said with a smile. "That was even better then I imagined." He laughed as he leaned back and kissed her again.

"I'm very excited to see where this date goes, We're very close to the restaurant now, and I've never toured the Statue of Liberty before, so it will be fun. Even better with someone by my side."

 Carol smiled as the two walked along the side walk as they talked more...

Well Steve I am sure tonight will be a good night so lets just enjoy it and try to get to know each other better. The more we learn the better that things can go. I look forward to learning more about you.

 Carol smiled as the two talked about there lives. It was flattering to her that he wanted to know so much about her.

Well I joined up to help the world that I live in kind of like what were doing now saving lives. I have always tried to just be better as time goes on. I enjoy being able to save lives and to just matter. I know about your ice thing but what made you stay on to fight and save lives?

 Carol smiled and gave him that cut look as she spoke how she felt...

Well I agree with that! I know we have these gifts for a reason but lets not talk about ours powers! What I want to know is why you think we are good for each other and why you want to be with me? I want to know where you think this can go and if you can handle me being away saving other planets that you can't travel to!!!

Well I am glad you feel that way. I think your very nice and I am hoping that you can make me feel good in every way. I just want to be happy with someone that will love me. So maybe this thing can work! I am willing to do what I have to to make it work! You better be more then just a good kisser giggles

He laughs at her joke.

"Well in that case I definitely hope so. I'll do whatever it takes to make it work for us, and I can see that we both are dedicated to finding the one! I'm no expert at this dating thing but I'm willing to give it my all so that we can have many more down the line. "

It made him happy that she thought he was a good kisser, that was a great start he thought.

So what are we going to eat tonight and also what is your stance on marriage. I know for us it might be a little diffirant. I have faith in it but really never saw myself ever getting there because of what I do for a living! What are your thoughts on marriage?

He smirked and nodded. 

"I think I'm going with the steak and potato, but marriage? I'm old fashioned, I believe in it fully. Marry the love of your life, make a life together, raise a family. That's the American Dream for me. How about you? What will you be having?"

 Hearing those words from him made her feel so good inside as that is what she dreamed of being in love and having a family. She feared she could never have that because of what she does. So she smiled and tried to hide her true feelings on that cause to her that was a dream out of her reach...

You know that sounds like the perfect life! As much as that would be cool to have I don't ever think I will get to enjoy that! We risk so much to save lives that I know my luck and don't take this the wrong way but dating a nice guy like yourself is about as close as I will get to that dream! I think I will have a salad and pork chops with rice and corn please!

The two relaxed and both felt out of place but they felt safe being around each other. Carol had a shield up and deep down inside she wanted him already to break it down. Before there meal came a song played and it took her heart away as all she could think about was Steve...

 Carol smiled and got up and they danced and it was really nice. The two hit it off nicely as it was more normal then they thought it would be.

Well you dance well and your pretty good at reading me as that was very nice! Your starting to find a place in my heart pretty fast! I just hope that is what you really want!

 Carol deep into his eye's and then kissed him as for once she was going to put her faith in love...

I am pretty much scared to death of love because of how many things can go wrong because of who we are and what we do! It could be used over us! You have to swear that you will put this world before us! I know that sounds crazy but earth has counted on you since day one! I need you to know that I am a big girl and I can handle myself! I can't let this become a weakness for you! Can you deal with that?

 Carol smiled and looked at him while they talked...

Well I don't see why we can't give this thing a try since your ok with the terms that we have to stand by. I just couldn't see this becoming any kind of a weakness. So what should we do next since this is your big date giggles. I mean your in charge of this one as I have plans for another well first ever couples date! Sowhat's next?

Well I won't bore you with shopping giggles... and we just had a nice dinner so I am thinking we take a walk then go see a nice movie. I think that would make for a nice first date and then things can pick up from there. How does that sound?

Well popcorn is one way to steal my heart as I do love popcorn and a good movie! Sometimes I see two movies in a day lol. Ok I will go get us seats and you get the coke and popcorn!
